The iClapperBoard™
The Problem:
Just using apps like Movie★Slate™ and others are great on a very quiet set. But the speakers on the iPad are very small and thus do not produce a loud clap noise to be heard over ambient noises (such as out-doors or other noisy environments).
The Solution:
The iClapperBoard™ V2 (NEW!) allows the use of a real clapper to insure the mark is heard clearly by the sound recorder, and the onboard mic (if using one) as well as other devices. Movie★Slate™ 3.0 and above also works with the iClapperBoard™ directly. It senses when the sticks are clapped and marks that moment in the app. Marking the timecode, updating the take, logging the length, and much more, all automatically with the iClapperBoard™ .

We have improved every aspect of the device. We changed plastics to a textured, more scratch resistant HDPE. This is some seriously tough plastic, can withstand lots of abuse and feels great in the hand. The new models are now held together with corosion resistant bolts and nuts instead of solvent welding, allowing for future upgrades, including different optional back plates, handles, and more. The edges have been rounded for better astetics and comfort. The V2 is also lighter in weight than the original, making it easier to cary. Just about everything is better with the V2. We kept the magnetic locking door and famous single point adjustable hidnge.
***PLEASE NOTE*** Dark gray is a discontinued color, the iClapperBoard™ V2 now comes in light gray with red.
